Posted April 24, 2006 (edited) I succeeded in snapping off the main dish on my Status aerial last year. This meant having to buy a new one. It does come apart in two main pieces : the top "dish" and the base. The dish is secured with an allen key on the side. Once the key is loosened you can wriggle the dish free of the base.
